Conference registration, all inclusive, is $85.00, $95.00 after November 7th and at the door. Registration includes a reception/light buffet Thursday and Friday evenings before the featured events, continental breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday. Advance registration is requested. Conference updates will be posted on the Website and the final conference program and all additional registration materials will be available at the conference registration area in the Science Library.
Please be sure to include your name, institutional affiliation, address, and e-mail whether you register online or by mail. You will have an opportunity to reserve a seat on the shuttle bus to the off-site events on Thursday evening. There is no additional charge for bus transportation, however, we do need to know how many to plan for. The online registration portal is now available. Register here after October 2.
Space is available for exhibits at the Conference. Booksellers, institutions, archives, and others wishing to display materials related to New York State history are invited to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .. Full tables, inserts in the conference program, as well as space to display informational materials about archives, historic sites, and other New York history resources are available. The on-line registration portal for exhibitors will be available after October 2. .
Getting to Albany and Lodging
Conference check-in and registration will be in the Science Library, Barnes & Noble Reading Room on the University at Albany Uptown Campus. Conference Hotel. The just opened Homewood Suites Crossgates Mall is offering a conference rate of $115.00 for Researching NY attendees, including free WIFI, breakfast, and limited shuttle service to/from campus and to the Museum on Saturday morning. Please note: Recent changes on the UAlbany campus have altered parking options from past years. We suggest using the first visitor lot on the right as you enter Collins circle, seen as a “v” in he beige background on this interactive map, http://www.albany.edu/content_images/ualbany-campus-map.pdf. Mousing over the bottom allows you to enlarge the map at the plus sign. That is the only lot with a human attendant. Parking is also available at the other pay lots, also with beige backgrounds on the map, by credit card. Due to ongoing construction in the area of the Campus Center and Science Library, some of the usual walking routes may be inaccessible.
